Jackie Duckworth (deaf) went home to be with The Lord this morning. She had suffered with cancer for some time. Please pray for her husband Darryl.
Please pray for my step sister, Elaine. Her daughter attempted suicide last night. A police officer found her before anything happened. Elaine loves the Lord and sees His hand in all of this. While she and her son were praying for this situation, her son was touched by the Holy Spirit and accepted the Lord. We are thankful that two lives were saved last night.
The doctors in Seattle started Mackie on two new meds 2 weeks ago. We have not seen an improvement. He has been having a rough 7 days. The doctors removed his cast yesterday and put him into a splint for another 2 weeks. He has broken 3 bones in 5 weeks. They are still unsure of what is wrong but are looking at 2 possible issues. He is struggling with continued pain,sore throats and tiredness. The doctors are also worried about him emotionally as this has gone on for over a year without any resolve. He has had to give up baseball and is heartbroken over it. Please pray for wisdom, healing and the faith of a child.
Be in prayer for Den Jacobs (wife Di) now living in California. Den fell Monday, 5/13 and broke his hip. Surgery is scheduled today, 5/14. Pray for healing and grace to handle this unscheduled event.
Peter's nephew, Steve Bergen, was injured Friday by a roadside bomb while serving in the military in Afghanistan. He suffered head and back injuries and is now in a US military field hospital. Thank you for praying for his safety and recovery.
Continue to pray for Lynda as she nears the last of her radiation treatements. These are her requested prayer points: Peace, joy and calmness in my spirit as I wait for healing That the cancer is gone and won't return That the lymph nodes that have been irradiated will scar in such a way as to allow the lymph to still flow through Healing of the nerve damage to my fingers and toes Courage as I begin the long term medicine to reduce the estrogen in my body. It is administered by needle to each buttock once a month. I do not like shots!!
Please pray for my daughter-in-law's mother, Cora Hoye, she has been diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian cancer. She will have surgery on the 29th. Please pray she'll draw near to God and that her family will too (she is a widow).
I suffer from Crohn's disease, anxiety and depression. I am a mom of two young boys and wish I felt better for them. My home is in foreclosure and I have a lot of medical bills. Does God still have a hope for me?
An update on Dave's mom, Jane: she has been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. It has been found in her lungs, liver, spine, pelvis, and lymph nodes. She did elect to try chemo which started yesterday. Please continue to pray for her, for Dave's sister, Carla, and for Dave as well. Thank you all!
